In 2026, JSC "O'ZENERGOINJINIRING" developed the design for the construction of a 100 MW gas engine power plant with a heat recovery system at the existing TPP-4 in Tashkent, incorporating advanced cogeneration technology.
The project is designed to simultaneously generate electricity and thermal energy through high-efficiency combined heat and power (CHP) technology, improving fuel utilization, reducing natural gas consumption, optimizing the performance of the existing power infrastructure, and ensuring reliable energy supply for consumers in Tashkent. The implementation of this project will contribute to the modernization, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability of Uzbekistan's power sector.
