In 2025, JSC "O'ZENERGOINJINIRING" developed the design for the construction of a 150 MW / 300 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in the Fergana Region of Uzbekistan.
The project is designed to enhance the stability and flexibility of Uzbekistan's power system by balancing electrical loads, supporting the integration of renewable energy sources, and improving grid reliability during peak demand and emergency operating conditions. The deployment of advanced battery energy storage technology will contribute to the country's transition toward a more resilient, efficient, and sustainable energy infrastructure.
