In 2025, JSC "O'ZENERGOINJINIRING" developed the design for the construction of a 500 MW solar photovoltaic power plant, a 334 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), and a supporting substation in the Nurabad District of the Samarkand Region as part of the Sazagan Solar 1 and Sazagan Solar 2 investment projects.
The project supports the expansion of renewable energy generation, the deployment of advanced energy storage technologies, and the enhancement of the reliability and flexibility of Uzbekistan's power system, contributing to the country's long-term green energy development strategy.
