In 2024, JSC "O'ZENERGOINJINIRING" developed the design for the construction of three 220 kV overhead transmission lines from the Karaul-Bazar 220 kV Solar PV Substation to the 220 kV outdoor switchyard of the Turon Substation, including the expansion of the 220 kV switchyard with three new line bays, as part of the 500 MW Solar Photovoltaic Power Plant project in the Bukhara Region.
The project is intended to ensure the reliable integration of renewable energy generation into Uzbekistan's national power grid, increase transmission capacity, and strengthen the region's modern electricity infrastructure.
