The UzEnergoEngineering team participated in scientific and practical training sessions organized by Sifang Electric in Beijing, China, from May 7 to May 14, 2026, dedicated to modern relay protection and automation technologies for power systems.
The training program was attended by UzEnergoEngineering specialists Zulfiya Arislanova, Khalilov Avaz, Makhmudjon Ibaydullaev and Ruziev Javohir, together with specialists from the National Dispatch Center and representatives of other design institutes.
During the program, participants studied the operating principles, technical characteristics, application features, selection criteria, and calculation methodologies of modern microprocessor-based relay protection and automation terminals manufactured by Sifang Electric. Particular attention was given to practical aspects of system configuration, protection logic, emergency response algorithms, operational reliability, and integration of digital protection systems into modern energy infrastructure.
The program also included practical technical sessions focused on equipment operation, testing procedures, commissioning approaches, and analysis of real operational scenarios. Participants had the opportunity to exchange professional experience with Chinese specialists and gain deeper insight into modern approaches used in the design and implementation of relay protection and automation systems for high-voltage substations and power facilities.
As part of the visit, the delegation also traveled to the city of Baoding, China, where a technical tour of Sifang Electric’s production facility was organized. During the visit, participants were introduced to the manufacturing processes of modern protection and control cabinets, production technologies, testing laboratories, quality control systems, and advanced engineering solutions applied in the company’s manufacturing operations.
At the conclusion of the training program, participants were awarded official certificates confirming successful completion of the course.
The training program provided valuable international experience and practical engineering knowledge, supporting UzEnergoEngineering’s ongoing efforts to strengthen technical competencies, study advanced technologies, and implement modern relay protection and automation solutions within Uzbekistan’s energy sector.
